About the Class

Flying H Group is currently developing a new small professional theatre company in Ventura. We are poised to begin our journey with this class taught by Taylor Kasch. His mission is to develop a theatre company in which all of the players “Speak the same language”. It is the perfect place for the experienced thespian to hone their skills or the beginning actor to learn the basics of acting in a warm and supportive environment.

About the Instructor

Taylor Kasch began his career at The American Conservatory Theater Youth Repertory. He has performed in numerous theatres in San Francisco, Minneapolis and Los Angeles. He was the founding Artistic Director of The San Francisco Actors Theater, as well as the Flying H Group originally based in Ojai, CA. An award-winning director and actor, Taylor staged the West Coast premier of Calamity Jane; the world premier of Beggars the Musical, co-written with Richard Dewhurst and songs by Jimmy Calire; and the Southern California Premier of Ray Harder’s Song of Survival, among many others. In addition to directing, acting and writing, Taylor is a noted acting teacher, his former students can be seen regularly on television and in films. Locally, Taylor has both directed and performed in productions at The Santa Paula Theatre Center where his efforts have been awarded Four Star awards for Best Director, Best Actor and Best Production. His recently resurrected Flying H Group is successfully continuing to produce small intimate theatre, so close the audience can reach out and touch it.
