Stewart McCure is an Australian producer, director and performer of improvised comedy.  A two-time Sydney Theatresports champion; Stewart has performed improv across Australasia and in Auckland, London, Seattle, New York, Boston, Toronto and with Calgary’s Loose Moose Theatre.

He has also performed stand-up comedy in Australia, Canada, the US and across the UK, including the 2008 Edinburgh Festival.  Stewart has written comedy for every Australian TV network and is currently working on an upcoming 6-part satirical history of Australia for the SBS network.

Over 20 years Stewart has produced and directed a vast range of improv comedy shows in Sydney theatres and pubs including Improv at the Fringe, Hopetoun Improv, The Funny Side of Sex & Crime, Oh Brother!, The Newsstand and Scenes from Communal Living

In 2009 Stewart produced and directed 60 performances of his highly acclaimed short-form improv show Scenes from Communal Living in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as producing a further 10 shows in Sydney.
